AN ACT
1 Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, providing for fine proceeds collected
3 from cruelty to animals violations.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 5511 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 5511. Cruelty to animals.

10 (m.1) Fine proceeds.--The court may grant all or any portion
11 of a fine collected under this section to any society or
12 association for the prevention of cruelty to animals
13 incorporated under the laws of this Commonwealth when any agent
14 of the society or association assists in the enforcement of this
15 section.

17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
