                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for fines for parking violations
     3     relating to parking spaces which are reserved for people who
     4     have a qualifying handicap.

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7     Section 1.  Section 3354 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
     8  Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
     9  § 3354.  Additional parking regulations.

    11     (g)  Special penalty; disposition.--
    12         (1)  In addition to any other penalty imposed under this
    13     section, any person who is convicted of violating subsection
    14     (d)(2) or (3) shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $50.
    15         (2)  All fines collected under this subsection shall be
    16     disposed of as follows:

     1             (i)  Ninety-five percent shall be paid to the
     2         Department of Revenue, transmitted to the Treasury
     3         Department and credited to the Department of Public
     4         Welfare for use for the Attendant Care Program.
     5             (ii)  Five percent shall be paid to the municipality
     6         in which the offense occurred.
     7     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
