AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for restrictions on use of
3 limited access highways.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 3313 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 3313. Restrictions on use of limited access highways.

10 (c) Motorcycles.--Except on busways in counties of the first
11 or second class, motorcycles may be operated upon any limited
12 access highway in an urban district in any other county in a <--
13 lane specified for multioccupant vehicles or car pools, EXCEPT <--
14 WHERE THE DEPARTMENT CAN DEMONSTRATE THAT SUCH USE WILL CREATE A
15 SAFETY HAZARD.
16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
