AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the establishment of the
3 Motor Vehicle Transaction Recovery Fund.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 2302(b)(1) of Title 75 of the
7 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 2302. Establishment and maintenance of fund.

10 (b) Assessments.--
11 (1) Every applicant for motor vehicle dealer
12 registration plates [or for the authority to act as an agent
13 for the department with respect to vehicle titling and
14 registration] shall pay, in addition to any other license
15 fees and bonds, an assessment of $60 to the fund.

17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
