AN ACT
1 Authorizing and directing the Department of General Services,
2 with the approval of the Governor and the Department of
3 Corrections, to convey a tract of land in Lower Allen
4 Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, to the Christian
5 Life Assembly of Camp Hill Borough.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. The Department of General Services, with the
9 approval of the Governor and the Department of Corrections, is
10 hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the Commonwealth of
11 Pennsylvania, to grant and convey, for a consideration equal to
12 $44,000, to the Christian Life Assembly of Camp Hill Borough,
13 the following described tracts of land and the buildings erected
14 thereon:
15 All those certain tracts of land both with the residence and
16 improvements thereon, surveyed for the grantees herein, situate
17 in Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania,
18 bounded and described as follows:
19 Beginning at an iron pin said point being a common property
1 corner of the northwestern corner of other land of Christian
2 Life Assembly and the southeastern corner of land of Gary
3 Houser; thence from the point of beginning along land of Gary
4 Houser north 49 degrees 38 minutes 57 seconds east a distance of
5 42.50 feet to an iron pin; thence north 52 degrees 18 minutes 42
6 seconds east a distance of 613.88 feet to an iron pin; thence
7 along land of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania the following 6
8 courses.
9 1. North 49 degrees 17 minutes 00 seconds east a distance of
10 437.00 feet to a point.
11 2. Thence in a southeasterly direction along an arc of a
12 curve curving to the left having a radius of 171.78 feet
13 and an arc length of 69.32 feet to a point.
14 3. Thence south 61 degrees 16 minutes 03 seconds east a
15 distance of 259.17 feet to an iron pin.
16 4. Thence south 47 degrees 36 minutes 22 seconds west a
17 distance of 386.61 feet to an iron pin.
18 5. Thence south 32 degrees 53 minutes 33 seconds east a
19 distance of 379.23 feet to a 30 inch Locust.
20 6. Thence south 47 degrees 31 minutes 44 seconds west a
21 distance of 615.25 feet to an iron pin.
22 Thence along land of James Erwin north 61 degrees 01 minutes 25
23 seconds west a distance of 234.80 feet to an iron pipe; thence
24 along other land of Christian Life Assembly north 47 degrees 90
25 minutes 28 seconds west a distance of 532.39 feet to an iron pin
26 at a 24 inch Locust Tree, the point of beginning. Said tract
27 contains 12.6059 acres.
28 Section 2. The conveyance shall be made under and subject to
29 all easements, servitudes and rights of others, including, but
30 not confined to, streets, roadways and rights of telephone,

1 telegraph, water, electric, sewer, gas or pipeline companies, as
2 well as under and subject to any interest, estates or tenancies
3 vested in third persons, whether or not appearing of record, for
4 any portion of the land or improvements erected thereon.
5 Section 3. The deed of conveyance shall contain a clause
6 that the property conveyed shall be used for recreational, youth
7 and church purposes by the Christian Life Assembly, and, if at
8 any time the Christian Life Assembly conveys, sells or transfers
9 the property or permits the property to be used for any purpose
10 other than those specified in this section, the title to the
11 property shall immediately revert to and revest in the
12 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
13 Section 4. The deed of conveyance shall be approved as
14 provided by law and shall be executed by the Secretary of
15 General Services in the name of the Commonwealth of
16 Pennsylvania.
17 Section 5. Costs and fees incidental to this conveyance
18 shall be borne by the grantees.
19 Section 6. This act shall take effect immediately.
