                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Recognizing the week of October 15 through 21, 1989, as
     2     "National Business Women's Week."

     3     WHEREAS, The National Federation of Business and Professional
     4  Women's Clubs is celebrating the 62nd annual National Business
     5  Women's Week; and
     6     WHEREAS, Since 1927, the National Federation of Business and
     7  Professional Women's Clubs has been instrumental in the
     8  professional, educational, cultural and social advancement of
     9  women in the business community; and
    10     WHEREAS, The more than 140,000 active members of the National
    11  Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs, with
    12  their special skills, have helped make this Nation productive
    13  and prosperous; and


     1     WHEREAS, The National Federation of Business and Professional
     2  Women's Clubs has played an important role in maintaining the
     3  economic growth of this Nation; and
     4     WHEREAS, The National Federation of Business and Professional
     5  Women's Clubs will continue to play an important role in
     6  American Society; therefore be it
     7     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize the
     8  week of October 15 through 21, 1989, as "National Business
     9  Women's Week"; and be it further
    10     RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
    11  the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's
    12  Clubs.
