                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 30 (Fish) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for licenses for senior citizens.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  Section 2701(b) of Title 30 of the Pennsylvania
     6  Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
     7  § 2701.  Resident fishing licenses.
     8     * * *
     9     (b)  Senior citizens.--A person who is or will be 65 years of
    10  age or older [at the time] in the year of application who
    11  complies with subsection (a)(1) and (2) is entitled to a "Senior
    12  Resident Fishing License" if he pays a license fee of $2 to the
    13  issuing agent or the commission plus a service fee of 50¢ to the
    14  issuing agent. The application shall give the date of birth of
    15  the applicant. Any person who qualifies to purchase a Senior
    16  Resident Fishing License may, in lieu thereof, purchase a Senior

     1  Resident Fishing License which shall be valid for his lifetime
     2  upon the payment of a fee of $10 for the use of the Commonwealth
     3  and, in the event the license is issued by an issuing agent, a
     4  fee of 50¢ for the use of the issuing agent.
     5     Section 2.  This act shall apply to the license year
     6  beginning January 1, 1990, and each year thereafter.
     7     Section 3.  This act shall take effect immediately.
