AN ACT
1 Amending the act of July 1, 1981 (P.L.191, No.57), entitled "An
2 act establishing certain fees to be charged by registers of
3 wills in counties of the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth
4 class and providing for fees in counties of the second,
5 second A, third and fourth class," fixing the fees to be
6 levied by register of wills in counties of the second through
7 fourth class.
8 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
9 hereby enacts as follows:
10 Section 1. Section 2 of the act of July 1, 1981 (P.L.191,
11 No.57), entitled "An act establishing certain fees to be charged
12 by registers of wills in counties of the fifth, sixth, seventh
13 and eighth class and providing for fees in counties of the
14 second, second A, third and fourth class," is amended to read:
15 Section 2. In counties of the second, second A, third and
16 fourth class [all existing fees and charges collected by the
17 register of wills shall continue in effect and shall not be
18 increased except by an act of the Legislature.] the following
19 fees shall be received by registers of wills:
20 ADMINISTRATION AND PROBATE:
1 LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION:
2 For granting letters of administration,
3 including tax due Commonwealth and filing one
4 bond, but, excluding advertising, for estates
5 graduated according to the gross value thereof,
6 real and personal:
7 Less than $2,500............................... $ 35.00
8 $2,500 to $10,000.............................. 45.00
9 $10,000 to $25,000............................. 60.00
10 $25,000 to $50,000............................. 75.00
11 $50,000 to $75,000............................. 110.000
12 $75,000 to $100,000............................ 150.00
13 Each additional $100,000 or fraction thereof... 50.00
14 LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION C.T.A.:
15 For probate and recording of will of one page
16 and granting letters testamento annexo, including
17 tax due Commonwealth, and filing one bond, but
18 excluding advertising, for estates graduated
19 according to the gross value thereof, real and
20 personal:
21 Less than $2,500............................... 35.00
22 $2,500 to $10,000.............................. 45.00
23 $10,000 to $25,000............................. 60.00
24 $25,000 to $50,000............................. 75.00
