AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Philadelphia Colleges of the
2 Arts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $667,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Philadelphia Colleges of the Arts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
7 for the fiscal year July 1, 1987, to June 30, 1988, for
8 instruction and student aid.
9 Section 2. Payments to the Philadelphia Colleges of the Arts
10 on account of the appropriation provided in section 1 shall be
11 made by the Secretary of Education in equal quarterly payments.
12 Section 3. The Philadelphia Colleges of the Arts shall
13 provide such information as may be necessary to carry out the
14 provisions of this act and in such form and manner as the
15 Department of Education shall prescribe.
16 Section 4. The Philadelphia Colleges of the Arts shall
17 report its revenues and expenditures and present its financial
1 statement in accordance with generally accepted accounting
2 principles and procedures for educational institutions as set
3 forth in the "Higher Education Finance Manual (1980) (1975)" and <--
4 the "Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Budget Instructions for the
5 State System of Higher Education, State Related Universities and
6 Non State Related Colleges and Universities."
7 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1987, or
8 immediately, whichever is later.
