A RESOLUTION
1 Recognizing October 19 through 25, 1986, as "National Business
2 Women's Week."
3 WHEREAS, The Pennsylvania Federation of Business and
4 Professional Women's clubs have promoted the concerns of working
5 women and have strived to improve positions for women in the
6 workplace and to create better conditions for women in the
7 business community; and
8 WHEREAS, The Pennsylvania Federation is the largest state
9 chartered federation in the nation, with more than 11,000
10 members in 207 clubs across this Commonwealth; and
11 WHEREAS, Every year business and professional women in
12 Pennsylvania join in celebrating "National Business Women's
13 Week" during the third week of October; therefore be it
14 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize October
15 19 through 25, 1986, as "National Business Women's Week."
