AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Pennsylvania Emergency Management
2 Agency for allocations to various municipalities in
3 Westmoreland County for reimbursement for flood damages.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Appropriation.
7 The sum of $1,398,000, or as much thereof as may be
8 necessary, is hereby appropriated to the Pennsylvania Emergency
9 Management Agency for fiscal year July 1, 1985, to June 30,
10 1986, to reimburse certain municipalities for flood damages
11 incurred in the storm of July 8 and 9 of 1985.
12 Section 2. Allocation.
13 The appropriation in section 1 shall be allocated as follows:
14 (1) City of Jeannette $1,026,000
15 (2) City of New Kensington 125,000
16 (3) City of Lower Burrell 50,000
17 (4) Scottdale Borough 3,000
18 (5) Mount Pleasant Township 98,000
1 (6) Unity Township 96,000
2 Section 3. Construction.
3 The sum appropriated in section 1 shall be in addition to any
4 sums received under section 224 of the act of June 30, 1985
5 (P.L. , No.5A), known as the General Appropriation Act of 1985.
6 Section 4. Effective date.
7 This act shall take effect immediately.
