AN ACT
1 Making an additional appropriation of certain Federal Block
2 Grant funds to the Department of Health for the fiscal year
3 1985-1986.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $1,000,000, or as much thereof as may
7 be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the Federal Maternal
8 and Child Health Services Block Grant to the Department of
9 Health for the fiscal year July 1, 1985, to June 30, 1986, as an
10 additional Federal appropriation for maternal and child health
11 services programs, including genetic disease and counseling and
12 lead-based paint poisoning prevention.
13 Section 2. The sum appropriated in section 1 shall be in
14 addition to the amount appropriated in section 214 of the act of
15 June 30, 1985 (No.5A), known as the General Appropriation Act of
16 1985.
17 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
