To the Members of the House of Representatives and Senate:
We, the undersigned, Committee of Conference on the part of
the House of Representatives and Senate for the purpose of
considering House Bill No. 2074, entitled:
"An act making an appropriation to the Wistar Institute-
Research, Philadelphia,"
respectfully submit the following bill as our report:

AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Wistar Institute-Research,
2 Philadelphia.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $208,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Wistar Institute-Research, Philadelphia, for the fiscal year
7 July 1, 1984 to June 30, 1985 for the operation and maintenance
8 of the institute. Payment of this appropriation shall be made by
9 the Secretary of Health in equal quarterly payments.
10 Section 2. The Wistar Institute shall provide such
11 information as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of
12 this act and in such form and manner as the Department of Health
13 shall prescribe.
14 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1984 or, if
15 enacted subsequent to that date, then immediately.
