AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Pennsylvania College of
2 Optometry, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $905,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
7 for the fiscal year July 1, 1983 to June 30, 1984, for
8 instruction.
9 Section 2. Payments to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry
10 on account of the appropriation provided in section 1 shall be
11 made quarterly by the Secretary of Education on the basis of
12 costs during the fiscal year.
13 Section 3. The Pennsylvania College of Optometry shall
14 provide such information and in such form and manner as the
15 Department of Education may prescribe.
16 Section 4. The Pennsylvania College of Optometry shall
17 report its revenues and expenditures and present its financial
1 statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting
2 principles and procedures for educational institutions as set
3 forth in the "Higher Education Finance Manual of 1975," without
4 exception.
5 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1983 or, if
6 enacted subsequent to that date, then immediately.
