AN ACT
1 Amending Title 66 (Public Utilities) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, granting billing options to volunteer
3 fire companies.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 66 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 1510. Metering electricity supplied to volunteer fire
9 companies.
10 A public utility supplying electricity to a volunteer fire
11 company shall provide for the option of measuring the
12 consumption of electricity supplied by the same method that
13 electricity to residential customers is measured or by demand
14 load.
15 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 90 days.
