                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of November 30, 1976 (P.L.1207, No.265),
     2     entitled "An act to provide assistance and encouragement for
     3     the development of comprehensive area emergency medical
     4     services systems," extending the expiration date of the act.

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7     Section 1.  Section 11(b) of the act of November 30, 1976
     8  (P.L.1207, No.265), known as the Emergency Medical Services
     9  Systems Act, reenacted and amended July 13, 1979 (P.L.107,
    10  No.44) and amended June 23, 1982 (P.L.596, No.169), is amended
    11  to read:
    12     Section 11.  Legislative Intent; Legislative Oversight.--

    14     (b)  This act shall expire if not reenacted by the General
    15  Assembly prior to the end of the fiscal year ending June 30,
    16  [1983] 1984.
