AN ACT
1 Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
2 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for jury
3 selection commissions.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 2122 of Title 42 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 2122. Composition of jury selection commissions.

10 (f) Counties where office of jury commissioner abolished.--
11 Where the office of jury commissioner has been abolished in a
12 county, the jury selection commission shall consist of the
13 president judge or his assigned replacement. He shall be
14 authorized to appoint two assistant jury selection commissioners
15 who shall be reimbursed at the rate of $50 per diem plus
16 expenses incurred for the performance of their duties.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
