AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Franklin Institute of the
2 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $450,000, is hereby specifically
6 appropriated to the Franklin Institute of the Commonwealth of
7 Pennsylvania at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the fiscal
8 period July 1, 1982 to June 30, 1983, for the maintenance of the
9 institute: Provided, however, That no part of this appropriation
10 shall be used in support of the institute's research
11 laboratories.
12 Section 2. Payments to the Franklin Institute on account of
13 the appropriation in section 1 shall be made quarterly by the
14 Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum
15 Commission.
16 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
