AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric
2 Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $742,000 is hereby specifically
6 appropriated to the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine,
7 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the fiscal period July 1, 1982
8 to June 30, 1983, for instruction in the Doctor of Podiatric
9 Medicine program.
10 Section 2. Payments to the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric
11 Medicine on account of the appropriation provided in section 1
12 shall be made by the Secretary of Education quarterly on the
13 basis of costs during the fiscal period.
14 Section 3. The university shall provide such information and
15 in such form and manner as the Department of Education may
16 prescribe.
17 Section 4. The Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine
1 shall report its revenues and expenditures and present its
2 financial statements in accordance with generally accepted
3 accounting principles and procedures for educational
4 institutions as set forth in the "Higher Education Finance
5 Manual of 1975" without exception.
6 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1982.
