                                     AN ACT

     1  Making an appropriation to the Philadelphia College of
     2     Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  The sum of $3,800,000 is hereby specifically
     6  appropriated to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic
     7  Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the fiscal period July
     8  1, 1982 to June 30, 1983, for instruction in the Doctor of
     9  Osteopathy program.
    10     Section 2.  Payments to the Philadelphia College of
    11  Osteopathic Medicine on account of the appropriation for
    12  instruction in the Doctor of Osteopathy program as provided in
    13  section 1 shall be made quarterly by the Secretary of Education
    14  on the basis of costs during the fiscal period.
    15     Section 3.  The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
    16  shall provide such information as may be necessary to carry out
    17  the provisions of this act and in such form and manner as the


     1  Department of Education may prescribe.
     2     Section 4.  The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
     3  shall report its revenues and expenditures and present its
     4  financial statements in accordance with generally accepted
     5  accounting principles and procedures for educational
     6  institutions as set forth in the "Higher Education Finance
     7  Manual of 1975" without exception.
     8     Section 5.  This act shall take effect July 1, 1982.
