AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Trustees of Drexel University of
2 the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia,
3 Pennsylvania.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $3,980,000 is hereby specifically
7 appropriated to the Trustees of Drexel University of the
8 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for
9 its fiscal period July 1, 1981 to June 30, 1982, for instruction
10 and student aid.
11 Section 2. Payments to Drexel University, on account of the
12 appropriation provided in section 1 shall be made by the
13 Secretary of Education in equal quarterly payments.
14 Section 3. The university shall provide such information and
15 in such form and manner as the Department of Education may
16 prescribe.
17 Section 4. Drexel University, shall report its revenues and
18 expenditures and present its financial statements in accordance
1 with generally accepted accounting principles and procedures for
2 educational institutions as set forth in the "Higher Education
3 Finance Manual of 1975," without exception.
4 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1981.
