AN ACT
1 Amending the act of September 2, 1961 (P.L.1177, No.525),
2 entitled "An act fixing the salaries and compensation of
3 members of certain boards and commissions, and repealing
4 inconsistent acts," eliminating the maximum amount which may
5 be paid annually to members of the State Civil Service
6 Commission, and allowing members to be paid for actual days
7 worked.
8 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
9 hereby enacts as follows:
10 Section 1. As much as refers to the State Civil Service
11 Commission of section 2, act of September 2, 1961 (P.L.1177,
12 No.525), entitled "An act fixing the salaries and compensation
13 of members of certain boards and commissions, and repealing
14 inconsistent acts," amended November 22, 1968 (P.L.1080,
15 No.332), is amended to read:
16 Section 2. Each member of the following boards, commissions
17 or groups shall be paid traveling expenses and other necessary
18 expenses and per diem compensation at the following rates for
19 each day of actual service.
20 State Civil Service Commission [(not to exceed
1 ($7,500) per annum)], each ............................ $50

3 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
