AN ACT
1 Amending Title 23 (Domestic Relations) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing for the
3 representation of the child.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 2313 of Title 23, act of November 25,
7 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
8 Statutes, added October 15, 1980 (No.163), is amended to read:
9 § 2313. Representation for child.
10 The court [shall] may appoint counsel to represent the child
11 in an involuntary termination proceeding and at anytime may
12 appoint counsel or a guardian ad litem for a child who has not
13 reached the age of 18 years.
14 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
