AN ACT
1 Requiring a proposed split of a school district into two or more
2 districts to be approved by a certain referendum of the
3 electors.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. A proposed split of a school district into two or
7 more districts shall become effective upon approval by a
8 majority of the electors voting thereon at the next general
9 election after the date the directors of the school district to
10 be affected thereby decide to split it into more than one
11 district.
12 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
