                                     AN ACT

     1  Providing additional funds to several agencies of the Executive
     2     Department from the General Fund and the Motor License Fund.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  The following sums, or as much thereof as may be
     6  necessary, are hereby specifically appropriated from the General
     7  Fund to the several hereinafter named agencies of the Executive
     8  Department of the Commonwealth for the payment of salaries,
     9  wages or other compensation and travel expense of the duly
    10  elected or appointed officers and employees of the Commonwealth,
    11  for payment of fees of contractual services rendered, for the
    12  purchase or rental of goods, services, printing, equipment, land
    13  and buildings and for the payment of any other expenses, as
    14  provided by law or by this act, necessary for the proper conduct
    15  of the duties, functions and activities and for the purposes
    16  hereinafter set forth for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1980
    17  and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at
    18  the close of the fiscal period ending June 30, 1980.

    19  soldiers of the Pennsylvania National Guard

    28     Section 2.  The following sums, or as much thereof as may be
    29  necessary, are hereby specifically appropriated from the Motor
    30  License Fund to the hereinafter named agencies of the

     1  Commonwealth for the payment of salaries, wages and other
     2  compensation and travel expenses of the duly elected or
     3  appointed officers and employees of the Commonwealth, for
     4  contractual services and other expenses necessary for the proper
     5  conduct of the duties, functions and activities for the purposes
     6  hereinafter set forth for the fiscal period beginning July 1,
     7  1980 and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid
     8  at the close of the fiscal period ending June 30, 1980.
     9                     To the Treasury Department
    10     Refunding Liquid Fuels Tax - Volunteer fire
    11  companies, volunteer ambulance services and
    12  volunteer rescue squads..........................       $18,000
    13     For payment of approved claims for the
    14  refunding of liquid fuels taxes and fuel use
    15  taxes to which the Commonwealth is not entitled..     1,500,000
    16     Refund Liquid Fuels Tax - To the Boating Fund
    17  for the use of the Fish Commission for the improve-
    18  ment of the waters of Pennsylvania on which motor-
    19  boats are permitted to operate...................       235,000
    20     Section 3.  The funds provided in this act are in addition to
    21  any funds provided in the act of June 18, 1980 (No.17A), known
    22  as the "General Appropriation Act of 1980," the act of October
    23  15, 1980 (No.164), known as the "Commonwealth Attorneys Act," or
    24  the act of June 30, 1980 (No.22A), known as the "Motor License
    25  Fund Supplement to the General Appropriation Act of 1980".
    26     Section 4.  This act shall take effect immediately.
