                                     AN ACT

     1  Prohibiting State or local transit and transportation
     2     authorities from chartering buses.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5  Section 1.  Chartering prohibited.
     6     The chartering of any bus by a State or local transit or
     7  transportation authority is prohibited.
     8  Section 2.  Effective date.
     9     This act shall take effect immediately.
