                                     AN ACT

     1  Making an appropriation to the Department of Education for
     2     certain bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of
     3     the fiscal period ending June 30, 1979.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  The sum of $9,700,000, or as much thereof as may
     7  be necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the
     8  Department of Education for payments to school districts on
     9  account of special education of exceptional children in public
    10  schools for the fiscal period beginning July 1, 1979 and for the
    11  payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of
    12  the fiscal period ending June 30, 1979.
    13     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
