                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of July 15, 1976 (P.L.1014, No.204), entitled
     2     "An act implementing the provisions of Article V of the
     3     Constitution of Pennsylvania relating to district justices;
     4     establishing magisterial districts; setting salaries and
     5     expenses; providing for certain education requirements;
     6     fixing jurisdiction; creating an administrator for district
     7     justices and imposing powers and duties on such
     8     administrator; requiring certain liability insurance; and
     9     making repeals," providing per diem salary for a temporarily
    10     assigned district justice.

    11     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    12  hereby enacts as follows:
    13     Section 1.  Subsection (b) of section 206, act of July 15,
    14  1976 (P.L.1014, No.204), known as the "Magisterial District
    15  Reform Act," is amended to read:
    16     Section 206.  Compensation.--* * *
    17     (b)  [Expenses] Salary and expenses while temporarily
    18  assigned.--Any district justice temporarily assigned to sit
    19  outside the political subdivision in which such justice's
    20  magisterial district is located shall be paid by the county, in
    21  which magisterial district the justice is temporarily assigned


     1  to, $50 per diem plus the actual, accountable expenses, not to
     2  exceed $44 per day, and mileage at 15¢ per mile for each day as
     3  such justice is so assigned.
     4     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
