AS AMENDED ON SECOND CONSIDERATION, IN SENATE, JUNE 26, 1979
AN ACT
1 Establishing a uniform mileage fee for all officials, officers
2 and employees of the Commonwealth, its political
3 subdivisions, intermediate units and authorities.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any other act
7 to the contrary the mileage fee to be charged and received by
8 any official, officer or employee of the Commonwealth, its
9 departments, bureaus, boards, commissions, agencies and
10 authorities and any official, officer or employee of its
11 political subdivisions or authorities created thereby, or of an
12 intermediate unit shall be 17¢ AS ALLOWED THE STANDARD MILEAGE <--
13 RATE ALLOWED AS A BUSINESS DEDUCTION BY THE INTERNAL REVENUE
14 SERVICE per mile, unless a lesser rate is adopted by the <--
15 department, bureau, board, commission, agency, authority,
16 political subdivision or intermediate unit.
17 Section 2. All acts and parts of acts are repealed insofar
1 as they are inconsistent with the provisions of this act.
2 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
