AN ACT
1 Amending the act of May 1, 1919 (P.L.103, No.79), entitled "An
2 act creating a State Art Commission in the Board of
3 Commissioners of Public Grounds and Buildings; requiring the
4 approval of the commission of the design and location of all
5 public monuments, memorials, buildings, or other structures,
6 and certain private structures, proposed to be erected
7 anywhere in this Commonwealth other than in cities of the
8 first and second class," providing a further exemption.
9 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
10 hereby enacts as follows:
11 Section 1. Section 8, act of May 1, 1919 (P.L.103, No.79),
12 entitled "An act creating a State Art Commission in the Board of
13 Commissioners of Public Grounds and Buildings; requiring the
14 approval of the commission of the design and location of all
15 public monuments, memorials, buildings, or other structures, and
16 certain private structures, proposed to be erected anywhere in
17 this Commonwealth other than in cities of the first and second
18 classes," is amended to read:
19 Section 8. The provisions of this act do not apply to a city
20 of the first or second class nor where construction costs do not
21 exceed $100,000.
1 All acts or parts of acts inconsistent with this act are
2 hereby repealed.
3 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
