                                     AN ACT

     1  Making an appropriation AMENDING THE ACT OF JUNE 30, 1975 (NO.8-  <--
     2     A), ENTITLED "AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE EXPENSES OF THE
     3     EXECUTIVE, LEGISLATIVE AND JUDICIAL DEPARTMENTS OF THE
     4     COMMONWEALTH, THE PUBLIC DEBT AND FOR THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOR
     5     THE FISCAL PERIOD JULY 1, 1975 TO JUNE 30, 1976, AND FOR THE
     6     PAYMENT OF BILLS INCURRED AND REMAINING UNPAID AT THE CLOSE
     7     OF THE FISCAL PERIOD ENDING JUNE 30, 1975," PROVIDING THAT
     8     THE APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR
     9     HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE AND THE APPROPRIATION TO
    10     THE LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT SHALL NOT LAPSE; CHANGING OR        <--

     1     PROGRAM, TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WELFARE FOR PAYMENTS TO
     2     SECOND CLASS COUNTIES FOR COUNTY HOMES; REINSTATING AND
     3     REENACTING APPROPRIATIONS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WELFARE
     4     FOR CHILD WELFARE PROGRAMS AND THE FOOD STAMP PROGRAM, AND TO
     5     THE JUDICIAL DEPARTMENT FOR COUNTY REIMBURSEMENT FOR COURT
     6     COSTS; AND TRANSFERRING, REINSTATING AND REENACTING AN
     7     APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FROM THE DEPARTMENT
     8     OF PUBLIC WELFARE FOR GRANTS TO COUNTY DEPARTMENTS OF HEALTH.

     9     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    10  hereby enacts as follows:
    11     Section 1.  The sum of $19,650,000, or as much thereof as may  <--
    12  be necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the
    13  Department of Community Affairs to be expended by making grants
    14  for housing and redevelopment assistance as authorized by the
    15  act of May 20, 1949 (P.L.1633, No.493), known as the "Housing
    16  and Redevelopment Assistance Law," and by payment of the costs
    17  of administering such act up to but not exceeding an amount
    18  equalling 2% of this appropriation. No more than 20% of the
    19  amount herein appropriated shall be allocated or granted to any
    20  one political subdivision.
    21     Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 1975.
