                       In the House of Representatives, January 22, 1973


     1     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the
     2  Commonwealth of Pennsylvania directs the Joint State Government
     3  Commission to examine the effectiveness of, and to recommend
     4  changes to or repeal of, the act of January 24, 1966 (P.L.1534,
     5  No. 536), entitled, as amended, "An act providing for the
     6  suspension of the duty to pay rent for dwellings certified to be
     7  unfit for human habitation in cities and providing for the
     8  withholding and disposition of shelter allowances," and be it
     9  further
    10     RESOLVED, That the commission shall report its findings and
    11  recommendations, together with draft of legislation recommended
    12  by it, to the House of Representatives as soon as possible.
