AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Department of State for the
2 examination of certain licensed practical nurses.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of one hundred twenty-nine thousand two
6 hundred fifty-five dollars ($129,255), or as much thereof as may
7 be necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the
8 Department of State to be used by the Bureau of Professional and
9 Occupational Affairs to cover all costs related to the provision
10 of examinations to licensed practical nurses who were originally
11 licensed through waiver of education and examination
12 requirements.
13 Section 2. All funds appropriated herein which are
14 unexpended or unencumbered as of June 30, 1974, shall be lapsed.
15 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
