| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Authorizing the Department of Conservation and Natural |
2 | Resources, Department of Transportation, Department of |
3 | Environmental Protection and Cambria Transit Authority, on |
4 | behalf of the Commonwealth, to agree to hold and save the |
5 | United States Army Corps of Engineers free from certain |
6 | damages arising from certain construction projects. |
7 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
8 | hereby enacts as follows: |
9 | Section 1. Hold harmless. |
10 | The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, |
11 | Department of Transportation, Department of Environmental |
12 | Protection and the Cambria Transit Authority, acting for and in |
13 | the name of the Commonwealth, are authorized to agree to hold |
14 | and save the United States Army Corps of Engineers free from all |
15 | damages arising from construction, operation and maintenance of |
16 | a collapsible dam in the Conemaugh River in Cambria County and |
17 | other related projects, involving cooperative agreements between |
18 | the Commonwealth and the United States Army Corps of Engineers, |
19 | except for any damages due to the fault or negligence of the |
20 | United States Army Corps of Engineers. |

2 | This act shall take effect immediately. |
