AN ACT
1 Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, prohibiting the possession of child
3 pornography.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 6312(c) of Title 18, act of November 25,
7 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
8 Statutes, is amended to read:
9 § 6312. Sexual abuse of children.

11 (c) [Dissemination] Possession and dissemination of
12 photographs and films.--Any person who possesses, sells,
13 displays for sale or transfer, or who possesses for the purpose
14 of sale, display for sale or transfer, any book, magazine,
15 pamphlet, slide, photograph or film depicting a child under the
16 age of 16 years engaging in a prohibited sexual act or in the
17 simulation of such act is guilty of a felony of the third
18 degree.

2 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
