                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, further providing for accomplice
     3     liability.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 306(c) of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
     8  § 306.  Liability for conduct of another; complicity.
     9     * * *
    10     (c)  Accomplice defined.--A person is an accomplice of
    11  another person in the commission of an offense if:
    12         (1)  with the intent of promoting or facilitating the
    13     commission of the offense, he:
    14             (i)  solicits such other person to commit it; or
    15             (ii)  aids or agrees or attempts to aid such other
    16         person in planning or committing it; [or]
    17         (1.1)  he sells to such other person, in violation of


     1     Chapter 61 (relating to firearms and other dangerous
     2     articles), a "firearm," as defined in section 6101 (relating
     3     to definitions), and such other person uses that firearm in
     4     the commission of the offense; or
     5         (2)  his conduct is expressly declared by law to
     6     establish his complicity.

     8     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
