AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation from the State Lottery Fund to the
2 Department of Aging for the payment of grants to area
3 agencies on aging and other organizations for aging programs
4 and services.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. The sum of $18,618,000 is hereby specifically
8 appropriated from the State Lottery Fund to the Department of
9 Aging for the fiscal period July 1, 1982 to June 30, 1983, for
10 payment of grants to area agencies on aging and for contracts
11 with other organizations for aging programs and services.
12 Section 2. No funds from this appropriation shall be used
13 for costs of administration by the Department of Aging.
14 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1982, or if
15 enacted subsequent to that date, immediately.
