                                     AN ACT

        Amending Title 24 (Education) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
           Statutes, granting credit to public school employees for
           previous nursing service.

           The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
        hereby enacts as follows:
           Section 1.  Subsection (b) of section 8304, of Title 24, act
        of November 25, 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the
        Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, is amended by adding a
        paragraph to read:
        § 8304.  Creditable nonschool service.

           (b)  Limitations on nonschool service.--Creditable nonschool
        service credit shall be limited to:

               (6)  Previous service as a county employee as a nurse.
           * * *
           Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
