1Amending the act of February 19, 1980 (P.L.15, No.9), entitled
2"An act establishing the State Real Estate Commission and
3providing for the licensing of real estate brokers and
4salesmen," providing for application for homestead exclusion.

5The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6hereby enacts as follows:

7Section 1. The act of February 19, 1980 (P.L.15, No.9),
8known as the Real Estate Licensing and Registration Act, is
9amended by adding a section to read:

10Section 610. Application for homestead exclusion.

11At or before the time of closing of a residential real estate
12transaction, the buyer's agent shall provide the buyer an
13application for homestead and farmstead exclusions under section
14341 of the act of June 27, 2006 (1st Sp.Sess., P.L.1873, No.1),
15known as the "Taxpayer Relief Act."

16Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
