AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for certificates of title for
3 snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 1101(a) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 1101. Certificate of title required.
9 (a) General rule.--Except as provided in section 1102
10 (relating to vehicles not requiring certificate of title), every
11 owner of a vehicle which is in this Commonwealth and for which
12 no certificate of title has been issued by the department shall
13 make application to the department for a certificate of title of
14 the vehicle. Recreational vehicles, as provided in Chapter 77
15 (relating to snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles), shall be
16 included within this requirement.
