                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, creating a right of forfeiture in the
     3     Commonwealth in certain property used in connection with
     4     organized crime or corrupt organizations.

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7     Section 1.  Section 911 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
     8  Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
     9  § 911.  Corrupt organizations.

    11     (g.1)  Forfeiture.--
    12         (1)  The following shall be subject to forfeiture to the
    13     Commonwealth and no property right shall exist in them:
    14             (i)  Money, real property, negotiable instruments,
    15         securities or other things of value furnished or intended
    16         to be furnished by any person involved in a violation of
    17         this section.


     1             (ii)  Proceeds traceable to a violation of this
     2         section.
     3             (iii)  Money, real property, negotiable instruments
     4         and securities used or intended to be used to facilitate
     5         any violation of this section.
     6         (2)  No property shall be forfeited under this
     7     subsection, to the extent of the interest of an owner, by
     8     reason of any act or omission established by the owner to
     9     have been committed or omitted without the knowledge or
    10     consent of the owner.
    11     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
