AN ACT
1 Authorizing surveyors to enter upon certain private lands to
2 perform surveys.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Surveyors Entering Upon Certain Private Land.--
6 (a) Any surveyor and his assistants may, in the execution of
7 surveys, enter upon the land adjoining the land which he is
8 surveying, if such entry is necessary for the purpose of
9 conducting the survey.
10 (b) Prior to entering upon the land adjoining the land which
11 is being surveyed, the surveyor shall give the owner of the
12 adjoining land written notice, by registered mail, of his
13 intention to enter upon the adjoining land.
14 (c) The surveyor or his assistants shall do no unnecessary
15 damage to such adjoining land, if they enter, and shall
16 reimburse the owner of the adjoining land for any damages to his
17 land.
18 Section 2. Effective Date.--This act shall take effect in 60
1 days.
