                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for occupational limited license.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  Section 1553(f) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
     6  Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
     7  § 1553.  Occupational limited license.
     8     * * *
     9     (f)  Restrictions.--A driver who has been issued an
    10  occupational limited license shall observe the following:
    11         (1)  The driver shall operate a designated vehicle only
    12     [between]:
    13             (i)  Between the driver's place of residence and
    14         place of employment or study and as necessary in the
    15         course of employment or conducting a business or pursuing
    16         a course of study where the operation of a motor vehicle

     1         is a requirement of employment or of conducting a
     2         business or of pursuing a course of study.
     3             (ii)  To and from a place for scheduled or emergency
     4         medical examination or treatment.
     5         (2)  A driver who has been issued an occupational limited
     6     license shall not operate a school bus.
     7         (3)  Any person who violates the conditions of issuance
     8     or restrictions of the occupational limited license commits a
     9     summary offense and shall, upon conviction, pay a fine of
    10     $200 and, upon receipt of a certified record of conviction,
    11     the department shall recall the limited license.

    13     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
