AN ACT
1 Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, prohibiting the use of facsimiles of game or
3 wildlife for law enforcement purposes.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 34 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 909. Use of artificial animals prohibited.
9 (a) General rule.--The use of facsimiles of game or wildlife
10 for law enforcement purposes under this title during the season
11 for the lawful taking of the game or wildlife represented by the
12 facsimile is prohibited.
13 (b) Definition.--As used in this section, the term
14 "facsimile" means a copy of an original with similar
15 characteristics of the original. The term shall include manmade,
16 mechanical or electronic decoys of any game or wildlife.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
