                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for the maximum axle weights of
     3     certain vehicles.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 4943(b) of Title 75, act of November 25,
     7  1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     8  Statutes, is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
     9  § 4943.  Maximum axle weight of vehicles.

    11     (b)  Exceptions and special applications.--
    12     * * *
    13         (6)  The limitations imposed by this section shall not be
    14     applicable to special mobile equipment, including well boring
    15     apparatus.
    16     * * *
    17     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
