A RESOLUTION
1 Honoring the 100th anniversary of the Knights of Columbus
2 Council No. 867 in Lancaster and observing Saturday, April
3 10, 2004, as "Knights of Columbus Council No. 867 Day" in
4 Pennsylvania.
5 WHEREAS, The Knights of Columbus Council No. 867 has been in
6 existence for 100 years; and
7 WHEREAS, The Knights of Columbus Council No. 867 has served
8 Lancaster County over the past century in accordance with its
9 oaths of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism; and
10 WHEREAS, It is fitting that the House of Representatives join
11 the citizens of Lancaster County in recognizing this historic
12 anniversary and observe Saturday, April 10, 2004, as "Knights of
13 Columbus Council No. 867 Day"; therefore be it
14 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize the
15 important contributions and significant history of the Knights
16 of Columbus Council No. 867 in Lancaster County on the occasion
1 of its 100th anniversary and observe Saturday, April 10, 2004,
2 as "Knights of Columbus Council No. 867 Day" in Pennsylvania.
