AN ACT
1 Amending Title 30 (Fish) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, exempting rented or leased canoes from registration
3 requirements.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 30 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 5302.1. Canoe registration exemption.
9 A canoe which is rented or leased by a boat rental business
10 and used in a commission lake or access area is exempt from the
11 registration requirements of 58 Pa. Code § 53.8 (relating to
12 boats).
13 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
