1Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2Consolidated Statutes, imposing penalties on employers who
3engage in the unlawful employment of aliens.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1.  Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:

8§ 7332.  Unlawful employment of aliens.

9(a)  Prohibition.--An employer who is found by a court or
10administrative agency to have violated section 274A of the
11Immigration and Nationality Act (66 Stat. 163, 8 U.S.C. § 1324a)
12shall be subject to the suspension or revocation of its business
13or professional license by the applicable licensing authority in
14addition to a fine as provided for in subsection (b).

15(b)  Penalty.--Any employer who violates subsection (a) shall
16be sentenced or ordered to pay a civil fine in the amount of
17$5,000.

18Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
