AN ACT
1 Authorizing the Governor to allocate funds necessary to provide
2 for the repair or replacement of certain citizen donated
3 personal property damaged or destroyed in the great storms
4 and floods of September, 1971 and June, 1972.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. The Governor is hereby authorized to allocate
8 from funds appropriated under the act of July 7, 1972, (Act No.
9 18-A), as much money as may be necessary to provide for the
10 repair or replacement of personal property donated by private
11 citizens to governmental or quasi-governmental agencies for use
12 in flood rescue operations which was damaged, destroyed or lost
13 in the great storms and floods of September, 1971 and June,
14 1972.
15 Section 2. Such funds as may be allocated by the Governor
16 shall not be used for the repair or replacement of meeting
17 halls, social rooms or any other facilities not directly related
18 to fire fighting, rescue or ambulance operations.
19 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
