A RESOLUTION
1 Urging the Game Commission not to adopt regulations requiring a
2 lottery for antlerless deer licenses.
3 WHEREAS, The Pennsylvania Game Commission has on February 26,
4 1983 (13 Pennsylvania Bulletin 840) published a proposed
5 regulation requiring a lottery for the issuance of antlerless
6 deer licenses in each county designated by the commission; and
7 WHEREAS, This proposed rulemaking may exceed the statutory
8 authority of the commission to adopt regulations; therefore be
9 it
10 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives urge the
11 Pennsylvania Game Commission not to adopt the proposed
12 antlerless deer license regulations; and be it further
13 RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be immediately
14 transmitted to each member of the commission.
